For those of you that are fans of Furturama, you may remember the scene from “Beast with a billion backs” where Bender is poured a glass of port when he is in the underground secret room of the League of Robots
Massive nerds would have noticed that the bottle was named “Serial Port” with a picture of a serial port (DB9) above it.
After trawling the internet, I couldn’t find many images and as a joke, I wanted a bottle of “Serial Port” in my desk at work – just for the heck of it, and hey, I’m a nerd.
So after a few hours i made a label up and stuck it to a bottle of port 🙂
